Firstbeat Sports Stress and Recovery Monitoring allows you to get the full picture of an athlete’s physiological condition. Cutting-edge analysis of Heart Rate Variability data recorded using the professional-grade Firstbeat Bodyguard device gives athletes a greater understanding of their own well-being and provides coaches with a 360-degree understanding of their athletes beyond practice.
Read more about this feature in our blog post.
Follow these instructions to upload stress and recovery data to the Firstbeat Sports Cloud (Sports Cloud).
Set up Bodyguard 2 plugin
Plug the used Bodyguard 2 device into a computer USB port.
In the Sports Cloud, select the Upload from Bodyguard option and follow your browser-specific guidance. For more installation instructions, see our guide here.
After the plugin has been installed successfully, use the Upload from Bodyguard option to proceed with uploads moving forward.
Selecting the athlete
Coaches select the athlete whose data they want to upload. You can use the search feature to find the athlete quicker.
Using Athlete credentials automatically uploads the data on their own profile and skips this selection.
Selecting measurements from the Bodyguard
Info for all saved Bodyguard measurements is shown. Select the ones you want to upload. If a measurement has been divided into multiple measurement sections, you can use the merge feature to create one measurement file. After selecting OK, data will be processed for a short time.
Viewing the results
After the data has been analyzed, the Dashboard view will have a new tab, 'Stress & Recovery', on the days that data where uploaded Bodyguard measurements took place. Click this tab for a quick overview and open the full report by clicking the PDF icon.
If you need any further assistance with this, you can contact Firstbeat Support.
