Bodyguard 2 not recording data

My Firstbeat Bodyguard 2 devices are not recording data. They indicate that they are charging but the green light will not flash when electrodes are placed. I have tried new electrodes, the Bodyguard 2 firmware update, and I have tried cleaning the location and letting the area dry before placing the electrodes, but nothing has helped.
