Firmware updates for the Firstbeat Sports Sensor are released periodically. These updates may include bug fixes, performance improvements, and support for new features.
We recommend updating your sensors whenever a new firmware version becomes available to ensure the best possible performance and access to the latest features.
You can update the sensor firmware using either of the following apps:
Firstbeat Sports: Coach app (iPad & iPhone)
Firstbeat Sports: Athlete app (Android & iPhone)

Before you start
Before updating the firmware, please make sure that:
You are using the latest version of the Firstbeat Sports: Coach app.
All measurements have been downloaded from the sensor.
The sensor is close to the device you are using for the update.
You update sensors using one device at a time.
Note: The firmware update takes approximately one minute to complete.

How to update the firmware
Open the Firstbeat Sports: Coach app.
Tap Sensor Management.

If updates are available, a blue circle with a number will appear on the Sensor Management icon.
The number indicates how many sensors within range can be updated.
In the Sensor Management view, select the athlete’s sensor you want to update.

Tap the blue microchip icon next to the sensor to start the update.
If the icon is grey, the sensor already has the latest firmware installed.
Tap Update and wait for the process to finish.
