How to start using Firstbeat Sports Cloud

Here is a quick walk-through of your 8 steps on how to get started with the Firstbeat Sports Cloud:

Step 1: Registering your account 

You will receive a welcome email from Firstbeat titled "Welcome to Firstbeat Sports". This includes guidance on how to register to Firstbeat Sports and how to log in.

Clicking the Register button in the welcome email opens your web browser.

You can choose the language for this page using the language selection flag in the top right corner. Available languages are English, Finnish, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Chinese.

Create a strong password to protect your data. Remember, it must be at least 10 characters long.

Once the password has been entered twice, click Save. The site will confirm your registration and you can proceed to the login page.

Step 2: Logging in

When you are logging in to the Firstbeat Sports Cloud for the first time it will walk you through the steps to get started. This is called the Setup Wizard.

STEP 3: Personal information

Enter your personal information, including; name, email, preferred language, and time zone. You can also add a photo to your profile. Remember to click the Save button if you have made changes!

STEP 4: Default settings

Select the default units you want to use. You can change the HRzone names, thresholds and colors.

STEP 5: Team management

Create your team and add the athletes to your account and to the team. Click the Create new button to start creating your team.

Give your team a suitable name, add logo and click OK to proceed and start adding the athletes. Athlete profiles need to be added one by one. Add athletes by clicking the Athlete management button at the bottom of the screen. Then click Add New Athlete on the bottom of the panel that's opening on the right. 

Enter at least the required information. 

If you want to add a picture click the empty image above the required information. Remember to click on save on the top right corner. 

STEP 6: Add Coach accounts

Add other coaches to your account so they can view and access team data. Click the Add new coach button to add another coach.

If you do not want to add other coaches, skip this step by clicking the Next button.

STEP 7: Download the application

Download the Firstbeat Sports: Coach app to your iPad, or iPhone. Download here.

Note that you can always skip the whole setup wizard and do the steps one by one. If you want to start the setup wizard later you can do that by selecting the profile menu from the top right corner and from there the Setup wizard button.
