Create and save a team session in the Firstbeat Sports Coach app

Session Management feature

Use a team session to group the athletes' measurement data from one training
session, game, race, or rehabilitation activity. After you save the session,
download and sync the sensor data to Firstbeat Sports Cloud to complete it.

Before you start

• Make sure the athletes' sensors are recording.
• Open Live view and select the correct team.

Start a team session

1. In Live view, select Start in the team-session bar at the top of the
     screen.
2.  The bar changes to Team session in progress and shows the elapsed time.

Stop and save the session

1. When the session ends, select Stop.
2. Select Save team session. Select Discard only if you do not want to create
     a session. Discarding the team session does not delete sensor measurements.

Select Save team session after stopping the team session.

Set the session details

Review and update the following details, then select Done:

• Team
• Time period
• Title 
• Sport
• Type: Training, Game, Race, or Rehab
• Notes, up to 250 characters
• Participated athletes

You can adjust the start and end times only within the period for which
measurement data is available. Add or remove athletes as needed before
saving.

Download and sync the data

After saving, open Download and download the measurements from the sensors.
When the device has an internet connection, the Coach app syncs the downloaded
data to Firstbeat Sports Cloud. The session is complete when all intended
athlete data has been downloaded and synced.

Confirmation that the team session was saved; download the sensor data to complete it.

Additional information

• You can download and sync data in stages. Data that is synced later is
   added to the saved session automatically.
• Multiple devices can download sensor data. Make sure the data from every
   device is synced to Firstbeat Sports Cloud.
• The session duration can be up to 12 hours and must be supported by
   available athlete measurement times.
• Recent sessions and their sync status are available on the Coach app Home
   screen.
